Two men are killed after 'drunk' driver, 22, going wrong way on M62 ploughs into their car

Two people have been killed in a horror crash on the M62 after a car travelling in the wrong direction smashed into another vehicle.

Two men, aged 34 and 37, died in the collision, that happened at junction 26 near Bradford, West Yorkshire at 2.34am this morning.

West - Yorkshire - Police - Reports - Vauxhall

West Yorkshire Police said they received reports of a black Vauxhall Insignia travelling east on the westbound carriageway.

Minutes later, the ambulance service was called to an accident involving the same car and white Skoda Octavia. They two men in Skoda died at the scene.

Driver - Vauxhall - Man - Suspicion - Death

The driver of the Vauxhall, a 22-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing a roadside breath test.
