Week 2 of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Station 19 (1.2 demo rating, 5.83 million viewers) grew on Thursday night in the demo compared to previous week’s 9-11 PM launch (1.2 vs. 1.1) – a rare feat for debuting show. The new drama took the No. 1 spot at 9 PM, and clocked ABC’s biggest overall crowd in the timeslot since Premiere Week.
Network’s move of Scandal (0.8, 3.76M) to 10 PM, however, dropped that Washington-set drama to a new series low in the age bracket. CBS took the 10 PM timeslot with S.W.A.T. (0.9, 5.34M) in both metrics, though it shared the demo win with NBC’s Chicago Fire (0.9, 5.26M) which tied its season low in the 18-49 age bracket.
