An Alabama police officer is accused of driving under the influence in a crash that injured a man.

Open bottles of Jack Daniels and Crown Royal were found in the front floorboard of Curtis Mitchell III's car after the crash early on Saturday, according to a crash report obtained by AL.com.

Huntsville - Police - Officer - Thursday - Madison

The 22-year-old Huntsville police officer was arrested on Thursday in Madison but was released shortly after on $1,000 bail.

He was off-duty and driving a personal car when he ran a stop sign at Wall Triana Highway and crashed onto Robert Wyke's 2005 Chevy Avalanche.
