A dead dog and 11 deceased puppies were found by Texas authorities wrapped in plastic bags and stuffed in a kitchen freezer, in an appalling raid of an alleged puppy mill.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) found 72 dogs on the Canton property living in their own filth on Thursday.

**** - Urine - Nursing - Mothers - Litters

Many of them were covered in **** and urine and nursing mothers were cramped with their litters of pups in plastic crates.

The animals, including the 12 deceased, were rescued with the help of Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office and transported to a rescue center in Dallas.

Animals - Custody - SPCA

The animals are now in the custody of the SPCA.

SPCA officers were horrified to enter the property where they found furniture and carpet littered with trash and smeared with **** and urine.

Animals were found living in cruel conditions such as newspaper tattered crates, with no access to food or water.
