American Woman star Alicia Silverstone hits the stage in floral dress at TCA press tour... with co-executive producer Kyle Richards

She became a household name in the nineties after starring in the hit film Clueless, as well as in Aerosmith's Cryin music video.

And on Monday, Alicia Silverstone attended a panel for her new show, American Woman, at the 2018 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour.

Actress - Dress - Blazer - Teal - Heels

The 41-year-old actress, who wore a floral dress paired with a blazer and teal heels, was joined onstage with the show's co-executive producer, Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.

The panel, which also included Alicia's co-stars Mena Suvari and Jennifer Bartels, took place at the Langham Huntington in Pasadena, California.

American - Woman - Kyle - Upbringing - Seventies

American Woman was inspired by Kyle's upbringing in the seventies; the show will premiere sometime this year on Paramount Network, formerly called Spike TV.

Alicia flashed her toned pins in the blue, pink and green floral patterned dress, adding pointed jewel toned heels and an oversized black blazer.

Series - Alicia - Kyle - Mom - Bonnie

In the series, Alicia plays Kyle's mom Bonnie, who raises her two daughters alone after leaving her husband.

Mena and Jennifer plays Bonnie's best friends, who also strive to make a name for themselves in the male dominated atmosphere of the seventies.

During the panel for American Woman, Alicia spoke about the show's timeless quality, even though it's set in the seventies.

She said the series shows how 'we all get stuck in our lives and you can kind of accept things that aren't working for you, because there is enough good and it's scary to break through, whether a relationship or job or whatever it might be,' via Deadline.
