He survived the first public vote of the series, which saw India Willoughby make her exit after just a week in the house.
And now Celebrity Big Brother's Jonny Mitchell has admitted that he thinks the house is a happier place after he stayed over India, while struggling to hold back the tears after being saved.

In a clip released ahead of Saturday's show, Jonny spoke in the diary room about his delight at surviving the first eviction, though he also admitted that the house would be a better place now India was gone.
He said: 'It was just instantly emotional. I had already got a bit crackly just from hearing people shout 'Jonny.' I wanted to do it respectfully but I could tell people were just like happy that I was staying.

'I don't know when the last time I spurted a tear was but I didn't think it'd be on live TV that's for sure.
'If I'm totally honest, I don't wanna sound harsh but I think the House is happier to have me here,' he continued.
