But Norman Reedus, 49, lamented how few original first season characters are left on AMC's hit zombie drama The Walking Dead in an interview with EW - and discussed how two more will depart this year.

The Blade 2 actor's comments were a reaction to the impending loss of two characters who have been with the show since its first ever episode: Carl and Morgan.

In the show's midseason finale, Carl, played by Chandler Riggs, 18, was bitten by a zombie and doesn't have long to live; while Morgan, played by Lennie James, 52, 'will be leaving by the end of the season to move over to Fear the Walking Dead' according to EW.
