San Diego 3D printer company Robo has partnered with Netherlands-based filament specialist colorFabb for a distribution and reseller agreement. colorFabb will also develop special filaments for Robo.
Makers in Europe will soon have a new 3D printer option to consider, as Californian additive company Robo has announced its expansion into the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg region. The expansion comes thanks to a partnership with Dutch filament specialist colorFabb, which will aid Robo’s European distribution and provide special filaments for the San Diego company.
Representatives - Companies - Satisfaction - Deal - Wider
Representatives for both companies have expressed their satisfaction with the deal, which will see a wider global footprint and new product line for each.
“We have long admired how Ruud and his team at colorFabb have built a premium brand in the desktop 3D printing segment, constantly innovating their filament product offering to meet the growing demands of users for more sophisticated materials,” said Ryan Legudi, Robo’s Managing Director.
Validation - Company - Printers - ColorFabb - Testing
“This is a huge validation for our company, and our printers, as colorFabb has completed the most extensive testing of our printers to date,” Legudi continued. “With an established global distribution footprint extending into 60+ countries, colorFabb will be able to leverage Robo’s products to its already vast customer base.”
The deal will also see Legudi’s 3D printer company selling colorFabb’s professional-grade filament to its existing customers, in line with its strategy to “expand deeper into the prosumer and professional segment.”
