MS-13 gang member who featured on FBI's 10 Most Wanted list is CAPTURED in Virginia

A New Jersey member of the notorious MS-13 gang, who recently landed himself on the FBI's 'Ten Most Wanted Fugitives', has been captured in Virginia.

Walter Yovany Gomez was taken into custody without incident in Woodbridge on Friday according to the FBI. Federal authorities will seek to extradite him to New Jersey, where he faces murder and racketeering charges.

Gomez - Struck - Julio - Matute - Head

Gomez and a co-conspirator struck Julio Matute in the head with a bat, sliced his throat and stabbed him in the back 17 times with a screwdriver in Plainfield, New Jersey, because he was suspected of socializing with a rival gang.

The co-conspirator was convicted in the May 2011 slaying. Gomez was put on the FBI's list in April.
