Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's (R., Ky.) super PAC, the Senate Leadership Fund, is interested in seeing musician Kid Rock run for Senate.

Kid - Rock - Run - Past - Hosme

Kid Rock has mentioned a potential run in the past to represent his hosme state of Michigan but has not taken further steps.

The president of the Senate Leadership Fund, Steven Law, said on Friday that they could support a Kid Rock for Senate campaign while on C-Span, according to the Washington Examiner.

Candidacy - Law

"We'd be actually very interested in his candidacy," Law said.

In a recent poll, Kid Rock (a.k.a. Robert Ritchie) trails incumbent Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D., Mich.) by only eight points. The election wouldn't be until November 2018.
