Ever since NBC cancelled “Hannibal” after three seasons, fans have been clamoring for more, and Bryan Fuller has been trying to make it happen. The stylishly grisly show was always a bit of a strange fit for the mainstream network, but nonetheless, Fuller and co. managed to really push the envelope of what could be shown on primetime, broadcast television. At any rate, efforts to save the series didn’t initially go well. Netflix and Amazon passed, and a potential feature film didn’t go anywhere either. However, there appears to be some light at the end tunnel, with his interesting tidbit emerging on Twitter from the show’s creator and producer Bryan Fuller.
That’s certainly new, and there’s more. On the Post Mortem podcast this spring, Fuller revealed that the hurdles to continuing “Hannibal” elsewhere seem to be clearing up.
