March of the Juggalos: Insane Clown Posse fans to head to Washington to demand an end to 'gang' designation

Thousands of fans of the Hip Hop Duo, Insane Clown Posse, are headed to Washington D.C. to demand an end to their 'gang' designation.

Three thousand fans of the band - who call themselves the Juggalos - will be demonstrating in the capital in September to protest against the FBI's label, 'a loosely-organized hybrid gang', which has caused some to lose their jobs and to be profiled by the police.

The FBI has accused the music enthusiasts of displaying 'gang-like behavior' and engaging in 'criminal activity', the Guardian reported.

'Although recognized as a gang in only four states,' the FBI assessment stated. 'Many Juggalos subsets exhibit gang-like behavior and engage in criminal activity and violence.

'Law enforcement officials in at least 21 states have identified criminal Juggalo sub-sets, according to [National Gang Intelligence Center] reporting.

'Open source reporting suggests that a small number of Juggalos are forming more organized subsets and engaging in more gang-like criminal activity, such as felony assaults, thefts, robberies, and drug sales.'

Music - Enthusiasts - Dedication - Clown - Posse

The music enthusiasts are known for their dedication to the Clown Posse, which has Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler as its members.

The group is known to produce songs which condone and may even celebrate violence.
