‘Kim’s Convenience’ Creator Dedicates Poem To Former ‘Hawaii Five-0’ Stars Daniel Dae Kim And Grace Park

It seems the recent exit of Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park from “Hawaii Five-0” has not been lost on “Kim’s Convenience” creator Ins Choi.

The Korean-born playwright and actor dedicated a poem he wrote about the tribulations Asian actors face to the former “Hawaii Five-0” cast during a Soulpepper Theater Cabaret at New York’s Signature Theatre Centre.

Kim and Park exited the series after a pay dispute, where the pair were looking for equal pay to their co-stars Alex O’Laughlin and Scott Caan, but, unfortunately could not come to a deal.
