Frank Sinatra famously referred to New York as the city that never sleeps, and a stunning new video shows exactly what he was singing about.

Incredible timelapse footage captures 10 days in the life of the city, combining aerial shots over the streets to ground-level footage of commuters making their way to and from work.

Made by filmmakers FilmSpektakel, the three-minute video includes iconic locations such as Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, the Grand Central Terminal and Liberty Island.

It is the first timelapse video the Austrian company has made on foreign soil.
