Massive brawl breaks out in high school cafeteria as teachers clamber over tables and chairs to break it up

A massive brawl was started in a Pittsburgh high school cafeteria on Monday morning, forcing teachers to clamber over dining furniture to break it up.

Six students are believed to have started the fight at Gateway High School in Monroeville shortly after 7.30am.


It's not clear what the teenagers were fighting over.

Teachers were forced to intervene, climbing over tables and chairs to come between the students as they threw punches.

A video of the scrappy fight was taken by another student who watched the chaos unfold.

Several teenage girls were seen landing punches on one student at one point in the video.
