Their lone studio album has become an icon of the punk movement, and still continues to inspire bands today.

But fans of The Sex Pistols will be left disappointed if they were hoping to see the band play together, as guitarist Steve Jones' revealed the punks won't be reforming.

Axe-slinger - Rumours - Anniversary - Never - Mind

The axe-slinger, 61, has quashed rumours that they could reunite for the 40th anniversary of Never Mind The B*****ks, saying they don't 'make enough to put up with each other'.

Steve, a founding member of the group, explained that the decision partly stems from the bands last reunion tour in 1996.

Punk - Rocker - Date - Run

Speaking of touring together, the former punk rocker explained the last one hundred date run left them wanting 'kill' themselves.

'It doesn’t look like it’s in the cards, but you never know, things change. We’ve done reunions in the past,' he told The Mirror.

'We - Hundred - Shows - Bit - Dough

'We did a big one in 1996. We did a hundred shows, made a bit of dough, but we wanted to kill ourselves at the end. We really don’t make enough to put up with each other.'
