An 11-month-old girl was clinging to life after she was struck by gunfire four times, including once in the head, while seated in the back of a car her stepmother was driving in Philadelphia Saturday night, police said.
The stepmom, who heard the bullets fired around 8pm in the 700 block of West Luzerne Street in the city's Huntington Park section, kept driving for a few blocks before realizing the baby girl was wounded, according to police.

The child was struck by bullets in the head, chest, and twice in the back, and the vehicle was struck by at least bullets five times, reports WPVI.
She was rushed to a hospital where she was in extremely critical condition, police said.
