Johnny Depp has accused Amber Heard of 'masquerading' as a domestic abuse victim in legal documents in the latest round of their seemingly endless court battle.

In March this year - two years after they settled their divorce - Depp sued his former wife for $50million claiming she defamed him by writing an op-ed in The Washington Post about domestic violence in which she did not refer to him by name but claimed she'd had experience on the subject.

Defamation - Lawsuit - Judge - Details - Case

She is trying to have the defamation lawsuit thrown out and is asking the judge to keep some of the details of the case private to protect her friends and family.

In a recent filing rejecting her request for privacy, Depp accused her of making the entire thing up.

He says he wants the entire case to become public because he thinks it will exonerate him.

The most recent filing, where he accuses her of 'masquerading', was obtained by The Blast.

April - Year - Avalanche - Documents - Divorce

In April this year, an avalanche of previously unseen documents from their divorce dispute emerged as part of the defamation lawsuit.

It included texts Depp sent Heard abusing her and videos of her where she cried as she recalled times when he had hit her.

Photographs - Clumps - Hair - Head

It also included photographs of clumps of hair she says he pulled from her head and bruises she said he inflicted on her.

Depp, who claims he never laid a hand on her, said she was the violent party in their relationship.
