ChuckleVision is named best Children's BBC TV show ever ahead of Blue Peter and Grange Hill

ChuckleVision has been named the greatest CBBC series of all time, a year after half of the iconic comedy duo passed away from cancer.

The slapstick children's programme introduced the world to Paul and Barry Chuckle and their famous catchphrase: 'To me, to you'.

Decades - Series - Episodes - Brothers - Myriad

Over two decades, 21 series and nearly 300 episodes the brothers took on myriad jobs, tasks and adventures, until the show ended in 2009.

Veteran entertainer Barry Chuckle, real name Barry Elliott, died at the age of 73 in August 2018.

Poll - Radio - Times - ChuckleVision - CBBC

In a poll of 3,000 conducted by Radio Times, ChuckleVision was named the greatest CBBC series of all time, followed by The Story Of Tracy Beaker and Dick And Dom In Da Bungalow.

The result comes days after the CBBC rated ChuckleVision 'mid' tier in a ranking of its own shows posted to Twitter.
