Disgraced author and political commentator Mark Halperin has signed a new book deal just two years after he lost his job following multiple allegations of sexual harassment.

News of Halperin's deal was met with widespread outrage on Sunday as his accusers labeled it a 'slap in the face' and major TV networks vowed not to let him on to promote his book when it's published.

The tome, which is called 'How To Beat Trump: America's Top Political Strategists on What It Will Take', draws upon conversations with more than 75 Democratic strategists as it focuses on political strategies in the Trump era.

Regan Arts, the publishers of Halperin's new book, is scheduled to make the official announcement on Monday, Politico reports.

Halperin - Book - Project - Career - October

It is Halperin's first book or project since his career was derailed in October 2017 when multiple women came forward accusing him of sexual harassment and crude sexual advances in the workplace.

Penguin Random House canceled a planned book by Halperin following the allegations and he was also dropped as a commentator by Showtime and NBC News.

Halperin is the co-author of 'Game Change' - a best-selling book about the 2008 election that was later adapted into an acclaimed HBO movie.

Following the news of Halperin's new deal, former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson, who alleged she was harassed by CEO Roger Ailes, slammed it as a 'slap in the face to all women'.

CNN political commentator Karen Finney called Halperin 'a predator' and condemned publisher Regan Arts.
