Roo look cold! Buff kangaroo appears to shiver as snow falls around him

This chattering kangaroo looks like he could use a warm blanket and a cup of hot tea.

The muscly marsupial appears to shiver as snow falls around him in Tolmie, Victoria where temperatures have plummeted to -6C.

Joanne Arrowsmith, who posted the video on Storyful, started filming when she noticed the shivering kangaroo on he property on August 9.

However the general manager of the Australian Reptile Park, Tim Faulkner, told Daily Mail Australia the eastern grey kangaroo was threatened rather than cold.

'In my opinion, he is not shivering,' explained Mr Faulkner.

'He is in a full extension of his body because it looks like he's in a threat posture.

'This could be because people are in close proximity to him and he is using his body language to say: "look how big I am".'

Ms Arrowsmith had noticed the roo on her property before but was concerned last week when he appeared cold.

'We spent time watching him through the window filming him, but felt so sorry for him as he shivered,' Ms Arrowsmith said.
