Woman slips note to a Domino's pizza employee alleging she was kidnapped and beaten by husband

A New Mexico woman who was allegedly beaten and kidnapped by her husband slipped a note to a Domino's pizza shop employee to say she was being held against her will, setting in motion a dramatic police rescue that brought her to safety.

After being contacted by the employee at the Domino's, located in Anthony, Texas, officers found the 32-year-old woman bound, gagged, and beaten in her home eight miles away in Chamberino, New Mexico, early Tuesday, police said.

She was crying and thankful for being rescued, Anthony Police Chief Carlos Enriquez said told the El Paso Times. It was not known how long she had allegedly been held against her will.
