The British invasion continues! Retro barber Johnny's Chop Shop bring their trade to Brooklyn

British barber Johnny's Chop Shop is bringing the retro London look to America in a two-pronged attack - a salon in the heart of Brooklyn's hip Williamsburg neighborhood and a line of its barber-grade products in 3,500 Walmart stores.

The male grooming brand - which started in the UK capital four years ago - fuses 1950s and 60s retro style with modern day trends, which has attracted the custom of British Instagram influencers and even rising star singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi - who, like the brand, is beginning to make a name for himself in the US.

Capaldi, 22, who this week hit number 1 on the Billboard 100's Emerging Artists chart, turned to the store to get his ready for the biggest performance of his career at the world-famous Glastonbury music festival.
