A shipping business in Ohio has confirmed the death of two men after they became trapped in a silo filled with grain.
The workers became stuck in the silo operated by The Andersons in Toledo on Friday morning.
Toledo - Fire - Department - Spokesman - Rescue
A Toledo fire department spokesman says rescue crews spent nearly two hours and worked 'tirelessly' trying to reach the men.
Rescue crews had brought in special equipment to stop more grain from collapsing in on the men.
Fire - Pvt - Sterling - Rahe - WTOL
Fire Pvt. Sterling Rahe told WTOL 11 that there was a 'substantial' amount of grain in the silo but it was not full.
At one point they were able to make contact with one of the workers, shortly after the first had died.

Later it was announced that the second had also lost his life, despite recovery efforts that included a life flight helicopter.
A statement released by The Andersons stated that the company was 'profoundly shaken by this tragedy and the loss of two of our own'
