Couple create their dream home in Lithuania based on the hit Chernobyl TV show

A young couple who saw their apartment on hit TV show Chernobyl decided to re-design it with Soviet decor and rent it out for £61-a-night.

Linas and his girlfriend Rasa live in an apartment in Vilnius, Lithuania, in a neighbourhood which featured in the show - but only realised when they spotted their balcony on the series.

Bedroom - Bathroom - Property - Linas - Grandparents

The one bedroom, one bathroom property originally belonged to Linas' grandparents for more than 40 years, but since their passing very little has changed inside, according to the couple.

'Everything in the flat - the interior, cutlery, even the bedding are all exactly the same as shown in the TV series.' explains Rasa.

'It - Show - Home - Experience - Time

'It was so surreal to watch the show from home. The experience was so immersive, we felt like we travelled back in time.'

After finishing the show the couple decided to change 'modern' parts of the flat and swap them for authentic Soviet era items, even swapping their brand new fridge...
