Beauty fans are going wild for a $20 hair straightener from Kmart for its ability to transform frizzy hair into a shiny, straight look in minutes.
The device was recently tested by an Australian mum named Lauren who took to her YouTube channel, Lime and Chilli, to say the gadget was better 'than those worth $300'.

'My hair is thick, coarse, dry and frizzy and it's taken me years and years to find straighteners that worked,' Lauren said.
The hair straightener features ceramic coated plates, and comes with an adjustable temperature control that allows users to increase heat to 230 degrees.

To demonstrate how effective the straightening iron was, Lauren allowed her hair to dry naturally.
When the appliance was switched on, she told viewers it defaults to a temperature of 180 degrees, however, to deal with her 'mop', the YouTuber dialled up the heat up to 210.
