While fans may have been less than enthused about Game of Thrones Season 8, Emmy voters shared none of their qualms about the caliber of the final season of the hit HBO series.

The nominees for the 71st annual Primetime Emmy Awards took place this morning, and Game of Thrones got a ton of love — so much, in fact, that the series has once again broken an Emmys record. With a stunning 32 nominations, Game of Thrones has officially broken the record for most nominations for a show in a single season.

Addition - Kit - Harington - Emilia - Clarke

In addition to Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke being nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a Drama Series categories, the show itself was also nominated for Outstanding Drama Series. The Outstanding Supporting Actor category is stacked with Alfie Allen, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Peter Dinklage, while Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and Gwendoline Christie are all nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category.
