(CNSNews.com) – The federal government spends too much every year and Congress needs to address the main drivers of that spending, said Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho).

At the U.S. Capitol on July 9, CNSNews.com asked Senator Crapo, “The federal government spent $4.1 trillion in fiscal year 2018 and ran a deficit of $779 billion. Does the government spend too much money, and if so, what federal department or agency would you eliminate?”
