Stray puppy who was attacked with hot tarmac and left with horrendous burns is nursed back to health

This is the distressing moment a stray puppy is pulled from in-between two walls at a petrol station after it was burned with hot tarmac.

The blistered hound, which had been hiding in the spot for two days after choosing it as a quiet place to die, was rescued by animal lovers in Ang Thong, Thailand.

Wounds - Months - Pooch - Fit - 'Tarmac

Its bleeding open wounds were treated and now, two months later, the plucky pooch is fighting fit and has been named 'Tarmac' after its ordeal.

Alarming footage shows the whimpering dog being tugged from its hiding place by rescue workers, after luring it further out with sausages.

They then apply cream to the singed areas, before taking it to an animal hospital.

Asana Pomloy, who found the animal, said they thought it had been attacked by a construction worker nearby.
