Police launch hunt for car and driver after passenger tells Wendy's worker she's been kidnapped

North Carolina police are looking for a car after a female passenger yelled out to a drive-thru clerk that she had been abducted while the driver, another woman, ordered food.

The bizarre incident happened at a Wendy's in Charlotte in the early hours of Friday morning.

According to police, the passenger who said she had been abducted looked to be in her 40s or 60s whereas the driver was a younger woman.

They had pulled up to order food when the passenger blurted it out.
