Lawn Chair Drill Team Rocks Annapolis Fourth of July Parade

Crowds cheered Thursday for a military-style lawn chair drill team entry in the Independence Day parade in Annapolis, Maryland.

The nine-member team, dressed in patriotic-styled shorts, performed their routine with military precision, including twirling, dipping, folding and unfolding their lawn chairs while yelling out each move as the crowd responded enthusiastically.

The humorous parade entry represented a marked uptick in tenor from the event in 2018, when the parade was used to honor five Annapolis Capital Gazette employees killed in a June 2018 attack.
