Despite initially being labelled 'Duchess Difficult', it seems a more suitable nickname for Meghan Markle may be closer to 'Duchess Down-to-Earth'.

Royal sources have suggested the new-mother is determined to be 'self-sufficient', and has been getting by with only a handful of staff.
