Rapper A$AP Rocky has been arrested over a street brawl in Sweden.

Footage of the fight showed the rapper and his entourage hurling a man to the ground and punching and kicking him on the floor.

Prosecutors - Name - Rakim - Meyers - Members

Swedish prosecutors said the the 30-year-old, real name Rakim Meyers, and three members of his team had been arrested just hours after his appearance at a hip-hop festival in Stockholm last night.

He is accused of severe assault outside the burger restaurant on Sunday night, but has hit back with his own video in which he accuses two mystery men of starting the row by following him and punching his bodyguard.

Artist - Norway - Tonight - Jail - Friday

The artist, who is due to perform in Norway tonight, is expected to be held in jail until Friday when he will appear in court.

His camp told MailOnline that Swedish police were 'making an example' of him, saying the row could have 'major repercussions' for his career.

Lawyers acting for the singer fear he could be held in custody until August - ruining his European tour which includes his headline appearance at the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park in London.

Protesting his innocence, A$AP said he and his team were pursued by the two men who had 'kept following us' four blocks around the Swedish capital.

'We don't know these guys and we didn't want trouble,' he insisted.

His own video showed an angry confrontation with the two men, one of whom accused the rapper's entourage of breaking his headphones.

The footage shows A$AP's bodyguard telling the two men to go away - which they seemingly refuse to do.

'Just for the cameras, we don't want no problems with these boys, they keep following us,' the artist says.
