The eyes of the college football world are on Wisconsin’s quarterback battle between Graham Mertz and Jack Coan.

Sports Illustrated listed the biggest storylines for the upcoming season, and the man under center for Wisconsin was on the list.

The popular publication wrote the following in part when discussing the situation:

Coach Paul Chryst hasn’t said who will replace him [Alex Hornibrook], but he has two strong options: junior Jack Coan, who started four games last year, and freshman Graham Mertz, whom ESPN rated the No. 1 pocket passer and No. 21 recruit in the class of 2019.
