2019 Television Critics Association Awards nominations revealed

The Television Critics Association announced the nominations for their 2019 TCA Awards, with two hit shows leading the way.

FX's breakout hit series Pose and Netflix's critically-acclaimed Russian Doll are both tied for the most nominations with four apiece.

Desus - Mero - Stars - Comedy - Central

Desus & Mero, stars of the Comedy Central series of the same name, will host the awards ceremony, which takes place Saturday, August 3, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Pose is nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Drama, while breakout star Billy Porter is nominated for Individual Achievement in Drama.

Pose is also nominated for Program of the Year and Outstanding New Program, which Netflix's Russian Doll is also nominated in.

Russian Doll star Natasha Lyonne is also nominated for Individual Achievement in Comedy, with the show itself nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

Pose - Russian - Doll - Netflix - Dead

Both Pose and Russian Doll will square off against Netflix's Dead to Me, Comedy Central's The Other Two, HBO's Succession and FX's What We Do in the Shadows in the Outstanding New Program category.

HBO leads the way in nominations by network with 15, including two for Chernobyl (Program of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Miniseries or Movie), two for Barry (Bill Hader for Individual Achievement in Comedy and Outstanding Acheivement in Comedy).
