Pizza delivery driver in his 40s is attacked by seven-strong youth gang in east London street

A pizza delivery driver in his 40s had his motorbike and phone snatched by a seven-strong gang in broad daylight on an east London street.

Shocking footage shows the group set upon the man during Saturday afternoon on Napier Street, East Ham, as women scream in the background.

Met - Police - Driver - Injuries - Arrests

The Met police said the driver suffered minor injuries. They are yet to make any arrests.

The capital is currently in the grip of a murder epidemic as the number of people killed on the city's streets this year rose to 61 this week.

Horrifying footage shows the gang surround the driver and grab his bike.

One of the youths then gets on the vehicle and tries to drive it away before dropping it and running away.

The Met police said the driver 'had his bike and phone stolen' in the attack.
