Latido Films scores key sales in Cannes led by Juan Campanella's 'The Weasel's Tale' (exclusive)

Antonio Saura’s Latido Flms has sold Juan José Campanella’s The Weasel’s Tale to France (Eurozoom), Portugal (Outsider Films), Italy (Movies Inspired), Greece (Seven Films) and Hong Kong (Edko Films) after market screenings in Cannes.

An Argentina-Spain co-production, The Weasel’s Tale is a black comedy starring Óscar Martínez (The Distinguished Citizen), Graciela Borges (The Quietude) and Clara Lago (Spanish Affair) star. Campanella won the best foreign language Oscar in 2010 for The Secret In Their Eyes.

Latido - Deals - Rodrigo - Sorogoyen - Thriller

Latido has also secured deals for Rodrigo Sorogoyen’s Goya-winning political thriller The Realm To Argentina (Impacto Cine) and China (Vision Film). Winner of 7 Goya awards in Spain, including best director, the film premiered in Toronto and San Sebastián last year.

Salvador Simó’s animation Buñuel In The Labyrinth Of The Turtles has gone to Taiwan (Joint Entertainment International) and Hong Kong (Edko).

South - Korea - Activers - Japan - Klockworx

South Korea’s Activers and Japan’s The Klockworx both bought dystopian sci-fi The Platform and Gerardo Herrero’s serial killer thriller The Goya Murders, Hong Kong’s Edko Films also bought Activiers.
