Bong Joon-ho Pens “A Word Of Pleading” To Cannes Critics About Not Posting ‘Parasite’ Spoilers

It appears that the Russo Brothers have unknowingly started a trend. After the directors of the massive superhero blockbuster “Avengers: Endgame” posted their second letter begging fans to not spoil the film after seeing it in theaters, many thought we reached peak levels of spoiler culture. But alas, the fear of spoilers is even encroaching on our beloved Cannes Film Festival and the upcoming Bong Joon-ho film, “Parasite.”

In an open letter to festival attendees and, especially, critics, the filmmaker behind such work as “Snowpiercer,” “The Host,” and “Okja” pleads with folks to not spoil the twists of his latest drama.
