A New York athlete defies gravity in an incredible show of strength that sees him walk upside down on his hands while balancing on dumbbells on a treadmill.
Christopher Joyce, 26, appears to be using every muscle in his body as he impeccably controls his balance while carrying out the non-traditional workout.

The athlete, from the Bronx, was training with his mother Kimberly in a gym in the area when he took the barbell and did a handstand while balancing on it as she filmed.
The incredible footage shows Mr Joyce perform intense strength exercises, sometimes coming within an inch of the floor before pulling himself back into a handstand.

Mr Joyce originally posted the footage on his Instagram where he shares many videos of himself completing the potentially dangerous manoeuvres.
