Avengers: Endgame, now in theaters worldwide and breaking records, runs a tight three hours and one minute. If your bladder is microscopic (like mine), you're probably going to need to beeline for the bathroom as soon as the credits start to roll. So do you need to stick around through the credits for an end-credits scene?
Nope. You're free and clear to run out, as there's no mid- or postcredits scene. Despite the MCU tradition of postcredit scenes, Endgame is a true finale. The postcredit scenes either set up the next MCU film, link the films together or even add a bit of humorous color to the world. But Endgame isn't giving away anything about Phase 4 yet.
Jimmy - Kimmel - Memo - Lack - Scene
Apparently, Jimmy Kimmel didn't get the memo about the lack of a postcredits scene. He reports sitting in his seat longer than he needed to after the movie ended.
"I went to a late movie, the movie ended at 1 a.m.," he said on his show. "1 a.m. I'm sitting there waiting through all the credits with a bunch of other disappointed idiots. Some of them may still be in the theater waiting for the end credits. I did love the movie but they still didn't answer the biggest question, which was where did the Hulk find glasses that fit his head?"
