Chiropractor, 44, is arrested on suspicion of murdering mobile-home property management staff

A chiropractor suspected of killing four people at a property management business in North Dakota on Monday was due in court Friday.

Chad Isaak, 44, was jailed after his arrest Thursday at 7.46pm on suspicion of killing RJR Maintenance and Management co-owner Robert Fakler, 52, and three employees Adam Fuehrer, 42, Lois Cobb, 45; and William Cobb, 50.

Security - Video - Business - Police - Suspect

Security video at the business helped police identify the suspect who is accused of having 'shot and/or stabbed' the victims, officials said.

Tips from the public also helped them identify the suspect who lives in a mobile-home park managed by RJR about 35 miles north of Mandan in Washburn, police said.

Hours - Surveillance - Investigators - Vehicle - Law

'Many hours of video surveillance were reviewed by investigators and a suspect vehicle was identified,' law enforcement said in a statement. 'Further investigation led to McLean County Sheriff’s Office locating the vehicle in Washburn.

'McLean County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle and detained Isaak while a search warrant was executed on the vehicle. Evidence discovered on Isaak and in the vehicle provided probable cause to place Isaak under arrest for the murders.'

Bowling - Alley - Manager - Darin - Helbling

According to a nearby bowling alley manager, Darin Helbling, police viewed his security video which faces the murder scene.

Footage reportedly showed a truck pulling into the parking area that morning and four minutes later a maintenance truck from the company left. Helbling claimed no other vehicles were spotted until police arrived.

Week - Public - Danger

They had said earlier in the week the general public was not in danger.

Isaak has not yet been formally charged on the four counts of AA Felony Murder.

RJR - Website - Company - Properties - Bismarck

RJR's website identified it as a family-owned company that has been handling commercial and residential properties in Bismarck and Mandan for more than 20 years.
