Two members of the alt-right group the Proud Boys have pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a violent street brawl with demonstrators in New York in October last year.

David Jacob, 29, and Irvin Antillon, 42, were involved in a massive street fight and riot outside the Metropolitan Republican Club on October 12, 2018 where Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes delivered a speech.

The speech was bombarded by protesters with left-wing anti-fascist group Antifa, sparking a violent fight.

On Friday Jacob admitted to a disorderly conduct charge and Antillon admitted to riot and attempted assault for their role in the violent fight.

They were each sentenced to five days of community service after they accepted deals offered by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

Jacob and Antillon were in a group of 10 alleged Proud Boys members indicted in the incident.
