Bloomberg - Bermuda - Executive - Forum - Part
Bloomberg explained at the Bermuda Executive Forum that part of the reason he declined to run for president was that he was too old. "To start a four-year job, maybe an eight-year job at age 79, may not be the smartest thing to do," he suggested.
The Republican-turned-independent-turned-Democratic billionaire also noted that he was too much of a centrist to have any success in the Democratic field, and the only way he would've won the nomination was "to change all my views and go on what CNN called ‘an apology tour.'"
