Netflix thrives on making true crime documentaries and docu-series, and you know what? They’re very good at it. Almost all of their true crime shows have been absorbing and fascinating, to the point where you can’t help but become obsessed with them. Their latest, The Disappearance of Madeline McCann, looks like it’s going to have the same effect. On May 3, 2007, 3-year-old Madeleine McCann vanished from her bed in a room at Praia da Luz, a resort in Portugal. The disappearance kicked-off a media frenzy, and an investigation that went to strange, startling, and frustrating places. To this day, no one knows what happened to Madeleine McCann, but there’s no shortage of suspects and theories.
