Will Smith is crossing another item from his bucket list: stand-up comedy!

On Wednesday’s Facebook Watch episode of Will Smith’s Bucket List, the 50-year-old star admitted he was “more nervous about doing stand-up than I am about bungee jumping out of a helicopter over the Grand Canyon.”

Despite having a successful career performing in front of a live audience through his rapping career, Smith said the experiences were different.

“When you do music, [if] you forget your lyrics, the audience knows them,” he said. “And they catch up, and they pick up, they go with it. With your stand-up, if you stutter [or] you stumble if there’s one moment where your heart jumps… they see it.”

In order to conquer his fear, Smith seeks out the help of the “master” Dave Chappelle.

“There’s only one master that I would ever want to learn from in terms of stand-up,” Smith said before meeting the 45-year-old comedian for some tips.
