Michael Jackson's former home Neverland Ranch has price slashed to $31 million from $100 million

The controversial documentary detailing allegations of child sex abuse against Michael Jackson is named after his infamous Californian home.

And the Leaving Neverland controversy is clearly making it hard for the ranch to find a new owner.

Home - Popstar - Sale - Price - Price

The former home of the late popstar has seen its sale price slashed to less than a third of the original $100million asking price, and is now for sale for $31million, having been relisted on March 1.

The mansion was originally for sale for $100million in 2015. It was then reduced in price to $67million but still failed to find a buyer.

Neverland - JM - Barrie - Peter - Pan

Neverland - which was named after J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan - has now been rebranded as Sycamore Valley Ranch and the price dropped by $69 million, to $31 million, reports Forbes.com.

Jackson purchased the home in 1989 for $19.5million and turned it into a fantasy world complete with zoo, fairground and ferris wheel.

Foot - Mansion - North - Santa - Barbara

The 12,598 square foot mansion is located to the north of Santa Barbara, California, as part of the complete 2,698 acre gated estate.

According to the listing with Compass, the is 'the ultimate ranch retreat' and boasts six-bedrooms, including a large first floor master suite with a private loft and two master baths.
