FBI agents say they killed a California man on the 10 Most Wanted list

Greg Alyn Carlson, 47, was shot dead by FBI agents inside an Apex, North Carolina hotel room on Wednesday.

The California man landed on the bureau's 10 Most Wanted list after fleeing Los Angeles in 2017 while free on bail for burgarly and sexual assault charges.

A man accused of several violent sexual assault cases in Los Angeles, California was shot and killed by FBI agents inside a hotel room in North Carolina this week.

Greg - Alyn - Carlson - FBI - Ten

Greg Alyn Carlson, 47, was inducted into the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list in September 2018.

On Wednesday, the authorities found Carlson at a hotel in Apex, North Carolina after a local police officer noticed a car associated with him in the parking lot.

Paul - Delacourt - Director - FBI - Los

Paul Delacourt, the assistant director of the FBI's Los Angeles field office, said Carlson was killed after a violent altercation occurred when agents entered his hotel room.

On July 13, 2017, the 47-year-old fugitive was accused of burglary in Los Angeles. He allegedly attempted to sexually assault a woman while using a weapon. The FBI said Carlson had a local arrest warrant based on charges...
