Stunt actors furious that they still don't get to participate in Oscars as 100K sign petition

Stunt personnel are sounding off at their disappointment with the Academy Awards and their continued exclusion from Hollywood's biggest night.

The Stand Up For Stunts movement is calling for a boycott of the Oscars since there is no category designated to honor those that risk their lives for entertainment.

Stunts - Category - Award - Show - Year

Best Stunts has been a proposed category for the award show since 1991. It has been rejected every year since.

Included on their pages are a plethora of photos showing various stunt actors, coordinators and allies holding signs that read: 'Oscars, add a stunt coordinator category!'

Stand - Up - Stunts - Link - Petition

Stand Up For Stunts also includes a link to a petition demanding that stunt professionals be honored for their work. It has just under 100K signatures.

The petition reads: 'Many people do not know that Stunt Professionals do not get an Academy Award, even though they are the ones who literally risk life and limb for their life's passion, the ART FORM they have spent their lifetimes MASTERING. The ART of ACTION!
