G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Malik Yusef claims he had mandate to arrange and negotiate a deal with German designer Philipp Plein and that Kanye was aware of the performance, which would've taken place today.

In a statement, Yusef, 47, says that it had later emerged that the husband of Kim Kardashian-West would not be able to perform after all, and that he had then returned the $750,000 to Plein.
Despite Yusef's assurances that West was aware of the arrangement and the contract, he has not explained how the rapper's signature ended up on the deal.

Both representatives for Kanye West and his wife Kim, deny that the rapper had any knowledge of the Philippe Plein contract, with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star tweeting that the performance was 'just a rumour'.
