Southampton are planning to ban three fans for mocking the death of Emiliano Sala by making airplane gestures towards Cardiff City supporters.
It was Cardiff’s first game on Saturday since it was confirmed that their £15million signing had died in a plane crash and tributes were paid to the player following the tragedy.

In sickening footage two Southampton fans could be seen making airplane gestures towards the visiting fans during their side's 2-1 defeat yesterday.
Hampshire Police have today confirmed three fans were ejected from the ground, but no arrests have been made and they are probing if any laws have been broken.

A spokesman said: 'There is no update today.
'For clarity there were three people ejected from the game.

'No arrests have been made and we are working with the club to investigate the incident.'
The footage emerged afterwards showing two men in the stands at St Mary’s, stretching their arms out wide and pretending to be planes towards the away end.
